Our trip to the Coast

This was the start of our trip. It

as about 7 hours to Portland where

we stayed till Tuesday. I easily got

bored on the trip despite all the

fun toys mom packed for me and

I only slept 30 minutes. So I got

entertained with food and a good

time it was. I loved the Cheetos!

Multnomah Falls

It is the second tallest year

round waterfalls in the nation.

The falls drops 620 feet from it's

origin in the Larch Mountains.

Downtown Portland. Over the weekend

these HUGE Navy Ships had pulled into

sea to be on display. There were quite

a few festivities going on around downtown.

We walked a loop that was a few miles.

It is so beautiful downtown!!

Aaron and his dad of course went

fishing and each came home with a

nice fish. They did them on the grill

for dinner one night and they were

delicious. Nothing like fresh fish.

We took the kids to Fir Point one day.

It was a little petting farm for the kids.

It was a lot of fun and the kids loved it.

We spent Tuesday and Wednesday in

Hubbard with Aaron's sister and

her family. Owen absolutely loved

it. They live on a farm and there

was so much new to do and see. He

got to go for a 4 wheeler ride, feed

their billy goats, play outside in the

sand box and do whatever Daphne

and Ellis were doing. It was so

fun watching them all play.

Owen crawled into bed with Ellis thinking

he was cool stuff being in a BIG bed.

This was our house at the coast that

we stayed in at Lincoln City. The whole

family got together to celebrate

Aaron's Grandpa Garber's 90th

birthday. Doesn't he look good?

Thanks for having a birthday so we

could all get together. He is such a

neat and amazing man and is a true

inspiration to all!!!

It was Father's Day on the day we

left so I had Owen stand in the sand

with this sign for his daddy who

he loves so much and is truly

blessed to have as a "daddy!!"

My little man on the beach. It

was so cold and windy out there,

but of course he didn't care and just

wanted to play. It was disappointing

that we couldn't spend more time

on the beach, but guess that is what

you get at the Oregon Coast.

Saturday we took a hike. It was about

1.5miles and fairly easy. Was beautiful hike

though and took us to this amazing bridge.
