Who is that silly boy in sunglasses??

Owen loves playing with my sunglasses
and thinks he is pretty cool walking
around in them. He looks pretty
cute though!!!

This is the playground that is right

across from our house. It is very

convenient to have it so close and

Owen takes advantage of it frequently.

My handsome little man. Can't believe he
is soon going to be two. He is getting so
big. He is talking some, but still has
a limited vocabulary and really needs
to learn to talk and use his words so we
are done with the whining, but.... He is
so full of energy and life.........

The Trinity Mountains
Camping 2008
Over Labor Weekend we ventured out into the
beautiful Trinity Mountains with Aaron's parents.
It was a beautiful drive up there and we camped
at Big Trinity Lake. We were the first ones to
arrive in the campground so we had our pick
of spots. We were in about 3 different ones and
then found the one we thought was the best.
It was kind of fun having so many choices, but
then I realize how indecisive I can be.

We had a spot right by the lake. Owen of course

loved the water and had so much fun throwing

rocks in the entire time we were there.

Absolutely Magnificent!!

Grandpa and Owen. Grandpa was Owen's
favorite buddy the entire trip. I think
grandma was getting a little jealous!!

Owen and grandma playing cars

in the wonderful dirt!!! Gotta

love it when you are camping.

Owen and Daddy!!! Aaron was determined
to have Owen catch his first fish. Owen thought
it was neat at first, but then got bored very
quickly. Needless to say NO FISH!!!

Owen playing in the grass which he

thought was so cool and funny!!

This was the first of two hikes we took. On
Saturday we hiked about 1 3/4 miles into this lake.
It was a beautiful hike. Slightly steep on the way
in, but a breeze on the way down. Owen wasn't
feeling very good this day, but was trooper the
whole way.

Now this is the way to roll!!!

What troopers you are grandpa and grandma!

There were some fires close by and
you could actually see the smoke.
Trinity Outlook!!
This was the second hike we took on Sunday.
It was up to the top of Trinity Lookout which
is a fire lookout. It was a beautiful hike up to the
top though fairly challenging, but we all made it!!

Poor Owen was so tired and decided to take

a little nap on daddy's head!! How precious

This is the top~ Elevation 9,500. Someone

actually lives up there. It was pretty high

and quite scary to walk around the catwalk.

The building sits so high up like you are

on top of the world just being held up by

concrete. I think it would be scary to live

up there, especially in bad weather.

What a GREAT camping trip

and amazing hikes we took.

God truly is an awesome Creator!!
