The Beach

The beautiful beach....however the water was so warm.

It was very hot in Thailand...probably mid 90's all week

and 90% humidity. So HOT!! We sweated a lot and took

lots of showers. Then all we wanted to do was jump in the

water to cool off, but....wrong the water was like bath water

and wasn't very refreshing at all. They said it hadn't rained

in about 4 months so that might explain a lot!

at any time or moment...he didn't care and

would have drowned if we weren't right

there with him. He loved putting his face

and head under water. He was crazy!

great day even though I was massively sunburned. And pretty

sure this is the only picture of the 5 of us we have, but...turned out good.

Leonardo DiCaprio. It was a beautiful beach.

This spot was a very big tourist attraction

hence all the people and boats.

Snorkeling......we found NEMO!!!

We snorkeled at several different spots, but

the last one was by far the best. We saw beautiful

coral reef, the water was crystal clear and the

fish were amazing!!

Aaron stepped on one and got about 5 stings in his foot!

He was in quite a bit of pain at first and even the next

few days due to all the walking.

and hundreds just swarmed around.

the boat. Just shows you how clear the water was!!!

This is a place where birds nest are made and then they

actually use the nest to make some kind of soup!

Yuck..doesn't sound good to me, but..

Amazing scenery

Travis and Jess. This was our first night in Thailand

and we went out to this great restaurant that was way up

on a hill overlooking the water. The food was delicious too!!

Longboats

We took one of these longboats over to Railay beach

and spent the day hanging out there. It was a beautiful

place, but once again it was very hot and the water

was very warm. The sun was intense...and yes I got burned!

It was about a 20 minute boat ride from our resort.

The Krabi night market.

We took a shuttle bus into the town of Krabi one

night and went to the market. It was definitely a

cultural experienc. There were stands set up

everywhere with many different foods and goods

to be bought. It was acutally really fun.

Shrimp!
This is what we had for an appitizer at dinner one night. We

went to this local resturant right on the water in Ao Nang.

We had lots of good seafood and the shrimp were huge and

oh so GOOD!!! Yes...were were still eating!!!

And....that was our trip in Thailand! It was so fun and am so glad

we got to experience that part of the world! What a trip!!!
