Fall &Halloween 2013

 Olivia and I went to one of the Boise Fire Stations

to get our pumpkins.  It is so fun and we have gone

the last several years.  One of my friends husbands

grow all these pumpkins behind the fire station

and then you can go and pick all the pumpkins you

want and you give a donation which goes towards

the fire departments and is for such a good cause.

They have lot of pumpkins, all different sizes, a

bounce house, a maze, the Boise State fire truck,

and Krispy Cream doughnut's!  We had a fun morning

while Aaron and Owen were fishing!

 We went over the Hansen's to have dinner and

carve our pumpkins.  We had a blast.  We made home

made pizza which was very good.  Then the kids had fun

making faces on their pumpkins and carving them. 
Kim got our the drill and we got creative using that!

 This was the food that I made and took for Owen's

class Halloween Party.  The kids got to dress up

and they had a parade outside and then the classes

had a party.  It was fun till someone pulled the fire

drill and we spent most time outside and didn't get

to enjoy the friends or food, but....oh well!

 He got to wear Levi's helmet and he know felt like

a real football player.  He was so excited, can't you tell?

 All the kiddos! 

We went over to Bridgette's and Travis and Jess were

there!  We had elk chili and corn bread and then

ventured around the neighborhood.  There were

a lot of houses and a lot of candy.  The kids had a

great time.  Then we came back and the kids of

course needed to try a few pieces of candy while

the adults ate dessert and visited.  The girls answered

the door and enjoyed handing out more candy!

I love this time of year and have enjoyed making and trying

new fall things!  Happy Fall and Happy Halloween 2013!!!
