Happy New Year!!!

I can't believe it is 2009!! Crazy how time flies

and all that happens in a year, only to have another

one approach so quickly!! For New Year's we

went over to Portland to have a late Christmas

with Aaron's family. We had a great trip. It

was fun having Christmas all over again!! Above

are the stocking that Nancy (Aaron's mom)

made all the kids for their Christmas gift. I

absolutely LOVE mine and have to say they

were one of my favorite gifts. She made 4 for

each of us to complete our little family!! My

stockings are the 2 in the middle on the top.

he was sad to leave and wake up this morning

only to find his mom and no playmates!!!

Grandpa made Owen a tool box that came

with lots of tools in it. He loved it and

thought playing "tools" was pretty cool.

All the kiddos plus Aunt Ericka. We wanted

a picture with all the kids, but of course

they didn't want to cooperate, hence the

Happy Birthday Aunt Ericka!! Ericka's birthday

was on the 4th so Saturday night we celebrated

her birthday. Kara made wonderful spaghetti

dinner followed with Black Forest pie.

Daphne, Kara, Owen, Ron and Ellis. New Year's

Day Night we rented Wallie and all watched it

as a family. The older kids seemed to really

enjoy it. Pretty cute movie!!!

Bath time of course is always fun for the kids. Owen

especially loves it b/c he has someone else to play with

in the tub. They all played so well together and Owen

just loved having them around. He misses them already.

This is when I get sad and miss family the most and wish

they were around. I feel bad for Owen and that he doesn't

get to grow up around his cousins, aunts, uncles and

grandparents. It just makes me so sad!! Anyhow...

it was a wonderful trip. We always have fun when we

are there. Thanks for everything. Love you all and miss
